Thinking of getting your first academic job? A strong online profile is a good place to start!
Aiming to establish and improve your academic web presence, this workshop will provide the following:
- Insights into why a strong web profile is important from a recruiter’s and an academic’s point of view
- A guided step-by-step setup of your own multi-page highly customizable web page (from opening the platform to choosing a design template to creating pages and a blog)
- 1-2-1 support for you to fully populate and develop your profile
- All the necessary skills to continue updating and maintaining your web page independently
Our goal is for you to leave this workshop with a live web page and all the necessary skills and knowledge to further develop your profile.

PCs will be available but please bring a laptop if preferred, think about styles/colours/fonts and content you might like to use.
