Call for abstracts – Fusion: Multidisciplinary Research Conference

pechakuchaWe invite you to contribute to the 1st Multidisciplinary Research Conference (powered by PechaKuchaTM) on 12th June, as part of the Graduate Festival 2015.

The conference aims to bridge the vast array of research at our university, and bring together PhD students from all QMUL departments for interaction and exchange of new insights across all areas.

This conference comes with a twist – selected speakers have to package their presentation in a PechaKuchaTM format. This presentation style was devised by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham of Klein Dytham architecture.

The idea is to show 20 slides, each for 20 seconds only. The images will advance automatically, so make sure you keep up the pace. It will help you to keep your talk concise, fast-paced and engaging for the audience.

Think you are up for the challenge? Send abstracts, of no more than 300 words, using this Abstract Template Form to QMULgradfest@gmail.com.

Deadline for abstracts: 1st May 2015

Please fill in ‘Abstract Template Form – Fusion Multidisciplinary Conference‘ and send to qmulgradfest@gmail.com

Successful applicants will be notified by 15th May with more information about the day.
